The End Of Another

The work week has finally drawn to a close. I don’t know how I do it every time the cycle begins anew.
I work four ten hour days a week booking flights while staring at flight codes, times, and numbers on a DOS-like screen, answering any and all questions callers have in the meantime. If passengers want to change their flights, they get me and I’m forced to stare at one hundred or so lines of fare rules to advise of fees and restrictions and what’s left at what prices on what days.
It’s not horrible just thinking about it, but doing it day in and day out starts getting to you. And I have good reason to believe that this carpal tunnel I feel like I have is stemming from the overuse of the keyboard every week. Picture 50 different menus set up on pathways routed by pressing 12 grouped letters on your keyboard and then try to do it every 5 minutes for 90 seconds or so. It makes your hands sore but they’re assholes.
I originally thought the problem was merely from knitting too much but, the past couple of months, I’ve been avoiding overdoing the needlework so I’m pretty sure I ruled that out. It still bothers me as well but it’s worth it.
